You know what your community needs to thrive and we’d like to support you to achieve this. When we say ‘community’, we mean your neighbourhood, your community group or a community of individuals brought together by a common purpose.
The Foundation SA Neighbourhood Grants offer non-profit organisations, up to $5,000 to support acts of community connection that strengthen the bonds of neighbourhoods, led by people in their own communities.
Check out past grant recipient stories here.
We know this grant this size won’t change the world, but we also know that community change is about more than money.

We’d love to publish information and images of your project (E.g website, social media etc).
Please notify us before making any significantchanges to the nature or timing of the project.
These grants have been made possible thanks to the generous support of two local donors, Giving with Gratitude Fund and The Lang Family Foundation.
Their support has enabled us to not only run these grants again in 2023, but also match donations from Foundation SA fund holders, further increasing the funds available to distribute.
When we launched the Neighbourhood Grants in 2022, we awarded grants of up to $2,000 each. Thanks to the power of collective giving, we’re now awarding grants of up to $5,000 each.
If you have any questions in relation to the Grant Guidelines please email: grants@foundationsa.org.au.
If you need technical assistance with the application lodgement please contact Gabby Lam, Grants Manager: gabby@communityfoundation.org.au or 03 9412 0412.

We pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the Adelaide region on which our office stands, the Kaurna people. We acknowledge all First Nations peoples and their deep connection to the land. The dispossession and treatment that has occurred, still impacts on the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people today. We walk hand-in-hand with all First Nations peoples on the path to reconciliation.
