Keep an eye on our socials for future grants opportunities or sign-up to our newsletter here.

What’s the aim of the Neighbourhood Grants?

You know what your community needs to thrive and we’d like to support you to achieve this. When we say ‘community’, we mean your neighbourhood, your community group or a community of individuals brought together by a common purpose.

The Foundation SA Neighbourhood Grants offer non-profit organisations, up to $2,000 to support acts of community connection that strengthen the bonds of neighbourhoods, led by people in their own communities.

We know this grant this size won’t change the world, but we also know that community change is about more than money.

How to apply

Foundation SA accepts applications through the Foundant Grants portal.  To apply, please follow the steps below.

Step 1.  Read the Grant Guidelines to make sure your project or activity meets the objectives.

Step 2. Register for the Foundant Grants portal (you only have to do this once for all our grants).

Step 3. Complete and submit the application form in our grants portal (you may be required to enter an access code: FSA2022).

If you're awarded a Neighbourhood Grant what do we ask of you?

To ensure you know what is expected after the grant, please preview the project report you will be asked to complete at the end of the project.

We’d love to publish information and images of your project (E.g website, social media etc).

Please notify us before making any significantchanges to the nature or timing of the project.
