Foundation SA is excited to launch our first grant round – Neighbourhood Grants 2022.
The Neighbourhood Grants are now open and offer SA based non-profit organisations, up to $2,000 to support acts of community connection that strengthen the bonds of neighbourhoods, led by people in their own communities.
You know what your community needs to thrive and we’d like to support you to achieve this.
We know this grant this size won’t change the world, but we also know that community change is about more than money.
When we launched Foundation SA one of our goals was to distribute funds and start working with community in our first 12 months. As we approach our one year anniversary in May, these grants do exactly that.
The recent community consultation provided valuable insights into the role we can play in our community. Practical experience and candid advice has helped us to develop this grant round, one that we are so pleased to now share with you.

We pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the Adelaide region on which our office stands, the Kaurna people. We acknowledge all First Nations peoples and their deep connection to the land. The dispossession and treatment that has occurred, still impacts on the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people today. We walk hand-in-hand with all First Nations peoples on the path to reconciliation.
